Fun fact about this song: this is one of those inspired-by-the-performer type songs. Shoshana Feinstein of Famous in NY introduced me to Cassie and I knew immediately I wanted this spunky badass to perform in my Canada Day show. But I didn't have a suitably spunky badass song! Thus, "Hockey Girl" was born and the rest is history. History documented below:
