Josh Stackhouse is a versatile composer-lyricist known for crafting memorable melodies, dynamic orchestrations, and character-driven lyrics. Though originally from Vancouver, BC, Josh studied music composition at the Wheaton College Conservatory of Music. He then moved to New York City, where he honed his skills as a lyricist as an Advanced member of the BMI Lehman Engle Musical Theatre Workshop. Under the guidance of renowned mentors like Andrew Lippa, Michael John LaChiusa, Maury Yeston, and Richard Maltby, Josh has written original songs for cabarets and composed music for a variety of theatre productions. Beyond the stage, his compositions have been featured in podcasts, short films, advertisements, and on albums of various recording artists.
